Gluten-Free Puffed Rice Chocolate Treats

Gluten-Free Puffed Rice Chocolate Treats

Gluten-Free Puffed Rice Chocolate Treats are fun and easy to make, its so delicious that adapting them to a healthy version is actually quite easy, and when I say easy, I really mean it’s one of those recipes that you can make with your children, have a lot of fun and still get compliments for it as being a cool snack with high nutritional values.

The chocolate bars are gluten free and vegan which makes them a perfect entertainment snack when having guest with these preferences. The best part is that it really takes about 10 minutes, top to bottom, to prepare these delicious chocolate snacks.

The puffed rice is a wonderful carb without the gluten, and the snack is sugar free (meaning, we don’t add sugar but it does contain sugar), because we use a combination of dark chocolate (70% cacao and higher) and milk chocolate (which contains sugar anyway and saves us from adding additional sweeteners).

This is a raw chocolate bar, there is no actual baking involved, the chocolate will stabilize in room temperature and becomes solid. My preference is keeping them in the fridge which helps them keep their shape and crunchy texture, especially in summer time.
